THE ASK

CREATE A SPRING COLLECTION,
FOR AGES 0-14, INCLUDING EVERYTHING FROM JACKETS TO SHOES, DRESSES TO SHORTS AND CAPS TO BRACELETS.

I’ve created a toolkit with characters and abstract objects for the H&M design team to create patterns with. Next to that, I’ve worked on puffy type illustrations, ideas for accessories and fun animations in which the garments come to life!

Next to a range of garments, we also created a bunch of accessories.

I really wanted to turn one of the characters into a bag that kids would collect rocks in or carry their glitter lipgloss in. It’s incredible seeing it come to life!

After sketching the hero characters and creating a lot of playful abstract shapes in 3D, I worked together with the H&M design team to create patterns to be used on the garments.

We wanted to create characters that would work for both the baby collection as the teens.
